Workshop 1: Craft a powerful elevator pitch
Craft a concise, credible and clear career narrative that elevates you.
In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn how to develop a clear career summary that introduces who you are, what you do, what makes you unique, and how you bring value to an organisation.
This will help you speak confidently about your experience and expertise in a way that quickly captures your listener’s attention. You can use this in networking, job interviews, and informal conversations. You can also apply it in your resume and LinkedIn profile to make a strong first impression.
Workshop 2: Perfect your standout resume
Articulate experience and skills, showcasing your expertise with confidence.
Does your resume need a fresh look? Do you have trouble selling yourself to employers? In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn how to create a unique resume that clarifies your vision and career journey, highlighting the value you’ve brought to the organisations you’ve worked with.
Get noticed for all the right reasons. We offer an objective eye to help you organise your resume, include what recruiters want to see, declutter and simplify. Create a document that presents your work history and experience in the best possible light.
Workshop 3: Build an irresistible LinkedIn profile
Land that interview with a professional digital presence.
Do you have a LinkedIn profile but haven’t done much with it? Are you new to LinkedIn and unsure where to start? In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn how to build an irresistible LinkedIn profile that captures your reader’s attention. You will also discover the different features of LinkedIn and learn what steps to take to drive more visibility and engagement.

Rowena Morais is an experienced editor, writer and marketing professional passionate about empowering mid-level executives and senior leaders. Specialising in optimising LinkedIn profiles and refining resumes, Rowena has a proven track record in helping individuals articulate their value and stand out in competitive job markets.
Rowena takes a practical approach to her workshops, prioritising participant engagement and involvement to ensure a dynamic learning experience for all.

Who is this program for?
The Jobseeker Jumpstart Program is designed to support any jobseeker at any stage of their career. If you are interested in having this program delivered for a private group, please get in touch.
I am facing challenges in my job search. I am unsure what I am doing wrong or why I am not getting positive responses to my job applications. Is this the right program for me?
The Jobseeker Jumpstart Program may be suitable for you if you are currently out of work or know you will be out of work soon. It gives you an opportunity to gain third party feedback on your resume and LinkedIn profile, share ideas with others and gain insights into other ways of approaching your job search efforts. You don’t need to sign up for all three sessions, you are welcome to pick one you feel is right for you.
Since this is a public program, how will you ensure confidentiality?
We take pride in ensuring we provide a safe space for people of all abilities to come together, share ideas, discuss and ask questions. We ask everyone at the start to commit to confidentiality and not share anything from the program outside unless they have received express consent to do so. Furthermore, you are free to share only those things you feel comfortable sharing within the group environment.
Who is running this program?
This program has been developed by Rowena Morais. She will facilitate the individual sessions. Rowena is a marketing and communications specialist. She has been providing employability support to individuals across Australia and Asia Pacific for many years. Her services include resume review, LinkedIn profile optimisation, support in developing an elevator pitch and interview preparation.
What is included in the program fee?
As an online program, you will have access to the workshops on the designated dates.
How do I make payment for the program?
If you are interested, feel free to register for the program. On receipt of your registration, you will be sent an invoice for payment. You may choose between payment by bank transfer or debit/credit card.
Are there discounts for those who cannot afford the full fee?
We make two student places available at the cost of AUD$30.
What is your refund policy?
If the program is cancelled, you will receive a refund in full. There is no refund if you decide to cancel. However, you may be able to pass your ticket to another person provided you inform us of this arrangement.
